Along with our full line of products and services, Dentcon administers complete consultations with you and the appropriate members of your dental team before proceeding with any kind of installation. We want to be sure that we provide you with only the best and the most ideal solutions for your practice. At the same time, we want you to see the wide array of options you have, and understand all aspects of our products and services, including pricing. During the consultation, we will walk you through every step of the decision making process. Remember that Dentcon is here to help you, so any input, feedback, questions, or comments are always welcome during the consultation. You can also be rest assured that Dentcon is flexible and can adapt to changes made along the way, as well as in the future. Of course, the following information is only a general outline, and the actual consultation will include more specific details and questions.

Step One: Introductory Consulting Session

Here at Dentcon, we believe that our customers come first. That is why in the very beginning, before any kind of work is completed, we want to be sure that the needs of your practice are clearly spelled out. This is to ensure that any product or service we provide is specifically tailored to those needs. The following topics will be discussed:

  • Current dental technology available to you
  • Goals, objectives and budget of the system you wish to integrate into your office
  • Equipment options
  • Desired design and layout of your practice
  • Phasing techniques and project timeline i.e. how long it will take to complete the project, accommodations to make prior to installation, etc.

Step Two: Facility Functionality

There is no use in setting up a dental technology system if it does not coordinate with the environment intended for use. That’s why at this step of the consultation, Dentcon will help to establish a preferred method of interaction with the equipment you will select. The following topics will be discussed:

  • Various methods of equipment integration in the treatment area
  • Examples and layouts of different integration techniques
  • Optimum solutions for your practice and other alternatives

Step Three: Equipment Details

Before you make any decisions, you should know details of the equipment you plan to purchase and utilize. After all, they will become a part of your office, and we want to make sure that we do the job right the first time, to avoid unnecessary and costly future repairs. We will be supplying you with the necessary information to start preliminary decision making on the specific equipment and components that will meet the goals, objectives, and budget previously established. The following topics will be discussed:

  • Information on technology products, including but not limited to the following: software, digital x-rays, computers, dental equipment, cabinets, installation kits, etc.
  • Uses and benefits of each product, and how they work
  • Introduction to our product and service provider partners

Step Four: System Design Development

Dentcon will always keep in mind the goals, objectives, and budget that you have established with us, especially in this crucial step of the consultation process, where we will be designing the high tech system that we will install for you. As always, your needs and preferences will greatly influence the results of our consultation. At the same time we want to help you make informed decisions. The following topics will be discussed:

  • System details such as: computers, dental equipments, and different modifications and upgrades to be done
  • Preferred methods and solutions for location of equipment
  • Meeting aesthetic requirements in the operatories and throughout the facility
  • Network layout blueprints

Step Five: Purchasing

At this point of the consultation, we are finally ready to acquire the different components of the system we have designed together. As always, Dentcon will walk you through every step, and ensure that all details of every transaction are clear, as we must be when dealing with big-ticket items such as computer equipment. The following topics will be discussed:

  • Recommendations on equipment manufacturers, model types, and resellers
  • Selection of products from different partners and vendors
  • Actual purchase of equipment

Step Six: Installation Review

Lastly, before any actual physical installation is completed, we will study the installation process together, verifying that each procedure is clear and understood. We don’t want any sudden surprises when we work with our clients, and want to make each transition as smooth as possible. The following topics will be discussed:
